Selon plusieurs t\u00e9moins rencontr\u00e9s sur le lieu du drame, des bruits de sifflets et de vuvuzelas auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 entendus aux environs de 1 heure du matin. D\u2019apr\u00e8s les m\u00eames sources, la victime serait un pr\u00e9sum\u00e9 voleur qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 appr\u00e9hend\u00e9 puis soumis \u00e0 des actes de torture par des personnes non encore identifi\u00e9es. Le corps pr\u00e9sente plusieurs signes de violences, laissant penser que la victime aurait succomb\u00e9 \u00e0 ses blessures apr\u00e8s les s\u00e9vices subis. les circonstances exactes de ce d\u00e9c\u00e8s demeurent encore floues.
